Deuteronomy 15:11
King James Version
11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land:
therefore I command thee, saying,
Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother,
to thy poor,
and to thy needy,
in thy land.
Who are the poor?
As born again, I can only think of FOUR:
1. The financially poor.
2. The sick and disabled.
3. The "poor in spirit".
4. The rich.
The rich?
They're poor??
Oh yes, as you shall see in the next pages.
For SPIRIT and SCRIPTURE will define them all.
You will appreciate this, as we go along.
Know that GOD is merciful.
He loves us all.
Otherwise, He wouldn't have sent His SON.
Who loves us all, too.
Thus, the CROSS.
JESUS had a singular purpose:
Luke 19:10
King James Version
10 For the Son of man is come to seek
and to save
that which was lost.
This 56th blog will tackle what the FOUR forms of "poor people" go through, do, or have done.
By exploring all four, we would get an idea of the dynamics, the cause of poverty and oppression.
We can find solutions, THROUGH Scripture.
Only the WORD of GOD speaks truth.
We're all brothers, and sisters, in CHRIST.
SPIRIT will put everything in its proper perspective.
We're all here to love one another.
It is the LORD's commandment.
Born agains abide by it.
John 13:34-35
King James Version
34 A new commandment I give unto you,
That ye love one another;
as I have loved you,
that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know
that ye are my disciples,
if ye have love one to another.
